Fareham DTL Grand Prix Weekend 2018

Farehams 200 DTL Grand Prix was yet again a great event, the weather fair and the targets even better a great weekend had by all, the shoot was Supported by Beretta, Eley Hawk, Browning Perazzi, La Porte, Ed Lyons (Pilla) Hurn Motors and last but not least The Hunters Inn Swanmore. There was a chance for all entrants to win a Beretta 692 if they were skilled enough to shoot 100/300 0n either day, again as per last year the gun stays Firmly in the hands of our supporter G M K at Fareham as no one managed to achieve this. However the High gun prize over the two day event was one by Dave Toomer this was a Berretta Watch worth £450 there seems to be a pattern here as at last years event Dave also won the high gun award which was a Perazzi watch, How many watches does one man need? There were great prizes from all of our supporters presented in the classes along with the usual cash. The colts were able to compete for a perpetual shield kindly donated by La Porte.

All in all a great weekend was had by all and many of the competitors as far a field as Ireland and Yorkshire and even the the I.O.W all asked that we hold the event again next year WATCH THIS SPACE......Once again Fareham CTC organized the event to be a fund raiser for a local charity and this year “Wave 105 cash for kids” was the recipient of the kind hearted members and visitors which raised a whopping £400 for this great charity.
